onMayFirst=site.Reboot();

1 May 2005

As part of the May 1 Reboot and CSS Reboot initiatives by the web design community, RyanCannon.com features a spiffy new coat of paint. I hope it doesn't seem as much of a last-minute effort as it actually was—our hero had a tiny case of design block for the larger part of the week.

Blurzine.com: Secret project revealed

21 April 2005

Tax day was not the only milestone for April 15th. After a whirlwind of work (both during and after my day job—don't tell my boss!), Blur magazine became revamped, relaunched and rebirthed as blur::zine/media. I'm very proud of the new site which, despite it's spartan design is already chock-full of good book, film, art and music reviews.

Michigan Academy Web Site Redesign

This week I unveiled the new and improved Michigan Academy web site.

A Tribute

2 September 2004

For months I have been trying to find a fitting digital tribute to my experience in May of 2004, hiking from the north rim of Grand Canyon national park, to the south rim. In this three-day trip, my dad and I became one of the elite: only 5% of the Canyon's 5,000,000 yearly visitors venture beneath the canyon rim, and only 1% make it to Phantom ranch at the bottom. And so I am proud to present, “Grand Canyon Fever.”

Exciting Changes

9 August 2004

RyanCannon.com is seeing a rebirth. The newer, more relevant, content-based and (hopefully) exciting site will contain much of the same content (journal, guestbook, road trip gallery, writing and forum), but will also contain more web design-based styles and techniques ( see the CanoeScripts and CSS+JS sections ).
