Day 4: Mountains, Deserts and Dust

21 August 2007

Today was our longest day of driving, Denver Colorado to Zion National Park, Utah. Twelve hours, two audiobooks a book and seven CD’s later, we’ve made it to an amazing desert landscape. Within fifteen minutes of arriving at the B&B, I saw a bat, a frog and a six-point white-tail.

The drive was gorgeous, weaving through the mountains like a German car commercial, and as pretty light on humanity. We began to get a bit loopy, and started dreaming up consipracy theories about the trucks datrting betwee factoy farms along the way.

I’m falling asleep now, so hopefully you’re enjoingt the shorter work.

I see you are on your way. I am winging that way as well and wondered if you would like to join my kin and I as we discover what the Hollywood Bowl is all about on Sunday Sept 9th at 7:00pm. A group called Underworld (see http://www.myspace/underworld) will be playing but getting together is the real objective. If you can’t make it maybe sometime while I’m in town. Sept 4 – Sept 11th.
    Love and Kisses (lol),
