This is just a quick post to brag about being in New York for the long weekend. I needed a break from school and am visiting friend teaching at the Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice.
Let me say I have a new respect for teachers. I sat in on her classes Friday, and was ready for bed before eighth period ended. Her students are adorable monsters. I considered my fourteen- to sixteen-hour work/school days stressful. Ha.
Today will involve some sightseeing, shopping and geocaching. Perhaps I’ll be capable of making it past eleven-thirty tonight.
